These requirements apply to ALL Fab submissions regardless of product type. Complete this checklist alongside the specific checklist for your product category (Code Plugin, 3D Assets, Blueprints, or Audio).
Set up your publisher profile correctly to receive payments and maintain credibility.
Publisher name must not be offensive, vulgar, or slanderous. Cannot contain "Epic Games", "Unreal Engine", or other organizations' names.
Provide accurate trader, tax, and payout information in Publisher Profile settings.
Configure your payout method to receive earnings.
Your Primary Email Address is used for sale invitations and important communications.
You must support your products. This is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time checkbox.
Configure support channels in your Publisher Profile's Publish Settings.
Publishers must actively monitor and respond to support requests.
Ensure all published products work as described and assist customers reporting issues.
Maintain professionalism - be courteous, approachable, responsive, and respectful.
Your product page is your sales pitch. Make it accurate and compelling.
All text must be in English with proper spelling and grammar.
Description must accurately represent what buyers will receive.
List all major features clearly so buyers know what they're getting.
List any plugins, engine features, or external requirements needed.
Fill out all relevant technical fields to help buyers evaluate your product.
Fill in all applicable Technical Information fields.
Accurately list which platforms your product supports.
If applicable, state whether your product supports network replication.
Provide link to documentation in Technical Information.
Proper categorization helps buyers find your product.
Products must exist in the category most relevant to their functionality and style.
Tags must be accurate and relevant to the asset.
Screenshots and videos are your primary sales tools. Make them count.
Images and videos must accurately display product contents.
Use high-resolution screenshots that showcase your product well.
Video demonstrations significantly improve conversion rates.
Certain information must be disclosed on your product page.
Must disclose if generative AI tools were used during creation.
Accurately rate mature content for ALL images, files, and Additional Files.
Disclose if offer contains paid advertisements or brand promotion.
Declare if product includes, uses, or distributes third-party software.
If using experimental or beta engine features, state this clearly.
Set your pricing appropriately and understand the payout structure.
Prices should reflect the approximate value of the asset.
Price selections are in US Dollars. International prices are calculated automatically.
Payouts issued within 30 days after month end. $100 minimum threshold.
Your files are submitted via a hosted download link.
Use Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or similar hosting service.
Keep link active until Epic generates a build.
Files must be in .zip format. No .rar, .7z, or other archive formats.
If your zip is password-protected, provide the password in Version Notes.
Ensure your content complies with Epic's policies.
Content must comply with Epic Games Content Guidelines.
You must have rights to all content you're distributing.
Cannot distribute .exe, .msi, .dmg, .iso, or other executables.
Don't share private user information without permission.
